Painting & Drawing Mediums

Every picture tells a story as they say and some mediums suit some subjects better than others but it's only through experimentation that I find the best result.

I produce most of my catalogue and commissioned work within three different mediums and these are:

• Oil on canvas or board
• Watercolour on paper
• Pencil/graphite sticks/charcoal on paper

I have experience working in most mediums and I have developed the confidence and versatility to approach just about any subject using any one of them. My background in photography and video helps a lot with composition and subject choice as it does my understanding of light and form. This kind of scope gives me the freedom to create a diverse range of results when it comes to my village and school projects especially as the shackles are well and truly off.
